In Hong Kong, it connects to the Heung Yuen Wai Highway, completed in 2023, and in Shenzhen, it connects to the Eastern Shenzhen Expressway.

Lok Ma Chau Port, located on Hong Kong’s San Tin Highway, connects with Shenzhen’s Huanggang Port via a bridge over the Shenzhen River. Wenjindu Port
Opened in 1979, Wenjindu Port was one of the two land ports connecting Shenzhen and Hong Kong during China’s early reform and opening-up period (the other being Luohu Port). Built in 1985 and upgraded with a new cross-border bridge in 2005, Sha Tau Kok Port serves both passengers and cargo. It has 10 vehicle inspection lanes, 15 inspection platforms, and 22 passenger inspection lanes, along with facilities specifically for transferring coffins from Hong Kong to the mainland.
